Aeroflot-Cargo reports stable results which are similar to the last year volumes of the freight uplifted in July 2009. Aeroflot-Cargo met this year budget targets that were revised in May 2009 to consider world economy crisis situation.

July 2009 has seen 12'992 tons of freight and mail being carried by Aeroflot-Cargo. Variance of the last year is 98.4 %.

Seven thousand one-hundred four tons were uplifted on flights of Aeroflot passenger network ' VLY 94.3 %.

Aeroflot-Cargo freighters carried 5,888 tons exceeding last year volumes by 4%.

Corporate experts said that both results of cargo volumes are exceeding originally planned targets ' passenger fleet volumes exceed by 16.4%, freighter volumes exceed by 42.5%.

In July 2008 Aeroflot-Cargo operated cargo fleet comprising of three DC-10F-40, two Boeing-737 freighter version aircraft. Also the second and the third MD-11F were being introduced to join Aeroflot-Cargo fleet. In 2009 freighter fleet of Aeroflot-Cargo only comprises of three MD-11F.

Operational activity results of the recent period indicate that Aeroflot-Cargo continues its business as normal to meet our customers and partners demands. Aeroflot is now rated as number one domestic cargo carrier (January to May 2009). The rating (published in Aviation Market magazine) is based on Transport Clearance House figures. These results could not be possible without efforts being made by Aeroflot-Cargo team.

'Aeroflot-Cargo' operates its own international scheduled flights to Germany, Finland, Japan, Republic of Korea, PRC, Kazakhstan and Hong Kong. Also the Airline performs charter programs. In addition to cargo flights Aeroflot Cargo uses all cargo holds on all 'Aeroflot' passenger routes.

Aeroflot Cargo has concluded agreements with the world's leading shippers and freight forwarders with the intention of sales system improvement and in order to provide for continuous cargo freight load. Herewith, cargo capacities are sold either through an agency network or directly to consignors through own Sales Team.
