AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), part of Volga-Dnepr Group and Russia’s largest cargo airline, in cooperation with JAS Worldwide Motorsport Logistics, has delivered race vehicles to China to compete in the 62nd Macau Grand Prix, one of the most celebrated and respected road races on earth.
Containers with the cars, and their spare parts were transported on ABC's Boeing 747-400F charter flight from Luxembourg to Macau with a technical stop in Moscow on the 11th of November. “We are glad to be singled out to move these vehicles, which is a reflection of the airline's reputation in the market as a trustworthy partner with a proven track record and accumulated expertise in delivering race cars,” said Stanislav Belov, ABC Sales Director IMEA & Charters. Mike Zimmerman, JAS Worldwide Motorsport Logistics General Manager, added: “JAS relies heavily upon its partners to meet the demanding deadlines faced by the motorsport teams. Racing is a very competitive sport and when you need something transported you usually need it to be done fast and reliable. This is why we always look to collaboration with companies that keep their promises and deliver the goods in a timely and a safe manner. We had already mastered many other successful projects with AirBridgeCargo and are glad to have them again as our partner for this prestigious project.” The 62nd Macau Grand Prix takes place from 19th to 22nd November.
