The transformer was moved from Savannah to Jacksonville on the CSX and from Jacksonville to Miami on the FEC Railroad. The CSX is one of the major ( Class 1 ) rail roads in USA and the FEC is a Short Line ( rail road )
The transformer was offloaded at a rail siding and transported by platform trailer to the Florida Power & Light substation where the unit was set on the foundation by jack & slide method.
