Middlesex, NJ –  Tim Bickmore, Aljex Software’s Vice President of Corporate Strategy, has been appointed to the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) Directors Circle.  He has replaced Aljex founder and CEO, Tom Heine, who is stepping down in favor of Bickmore. Robert Voltmann, President & CEO of the TIA, welcomed the addition of Bickmore by saying, “The TIA Board and staff are very excited to have someone of Tim’s stature join the TIA Directors Circle. Tim brings tremendous industry and management experience to the Board. While we will miss Aljex founder, Tom Heine, Aljex will be well represented by Tim Bickmore.” Bickmore brings decades of transportation and technology management experience to the table.  Notably, prior to joining Aljex, Bickmore served as President for two technology powerhouses in the transportation industry, DAT Solutions and Getloaded. He has also served on numerous boards of directors, both domestic and international. Now, Bickmore is managing short- and long-term strategy at Aljex. With a focus on partnerships, but overseeing a variety of initiatives, Bickmore is guiding the company during a period of rapid growth. Heine, full of conviction, summed up his sentiments by saying, “There is no one more qualified than Tim Bickmore to be a part of the TIA Board”.
