HUNTINGTON, WV - Allied Logistics Company will change its name to Reo Logistics and introduce a new logo effective January 1, 2016, according to company officials. “It is important that our company is uniquely positioned to be the best in the logistics industry,” said Rebecca Polan, president of Allied Logistics. “Our new name allows us to build on our legacy and stand out from the crowd, with so many other companies having ‘Allied’ in their name. We will remain operating under family ownership as we have since our founding and continue to be customer-focused.” During this transition, the company will also restructure t into two divisions: transportation operations and warehousing operations. As of January 1, Reo Hatfield will be president of the new Transportation Operations, and Michael Carroll will be president of the new Warehouse Operations. “We are so pleased that Reo and Michael, two amazing industry professionals, will lead our divisions. The purpose of our restructure is simple. We want to be as efficient and effective as possible in our operations to provide cost-effective, strategic solutions for our customers. The logistics industry is always evolving, so this will allow us to provide the best quality, value and innovation to our customers, “ said Polan. “As part of the reorganization, we also believe we will add jobs as we continue to grow and evolve.”
