AllTranstek appoints new executives for COO and Business Development

AllTranstek Hires Jan Marino as Manager of Business Development  Downers Grove, IL:  AllTranstek, L.L.C. recently announced the hiring of Jan Marino as Manager of Business Development. Marino will leverage over 20 years of commercial railcar industry experience to identify new client growth opportunities and current client needs. Marino will also drive the marketing and communications efforts at AllTranstek. Marino has extensive experience in sales and customer service. Prior to joining AllTranstek, she expanded railcar component sales among major builders, leasing companies, shippers, and repair networks as an account manager at Salco Products. While at GE Rail Services, Marino was successful in delivering results and enhancing business relationships within both sales and customer service roles.  Marino holds a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University in Chicago. Richard J. AllTranstek Hires Andy Schaffer as Chief Operating Officer  Downers Grove, IL:  AllTranstek, L.L.C. recently announced the hiring of Andy Schaffer as Chief Operating Officer. As COO and a key member of the executive team, Schaffer has day-to-day responsibility for operational execution of technical service departments at AllTranstek, including fleet management, client services, regulatory compliance, NDT/special processes, and inspection services.  “I am delighted to have Andy back as part of our executive leadership team”, said Jeff Wilson, President of AllTranstek. “His combination of industry, railcar repair operations, regulatory and customer knowledge uniquely positions Andy to drive AllTranstek's operating priorities and aligns well with our vision for the future”.  Schaffer has an extensive background in the operation of railcar repair facilities including heavy tank car repairs, alterations and conversion programs.  He served as senior vice president at GBW Railcar Services and Watco Mechanical Services and spent over three decades holding various labor and managerial positions at Rescar Companies. Schaffer was one of the initial members of Transtek Solutions that merged with AllTrans in 2000 to form AllTranstek, L.L.C. “I’m excited to be back at AllTranstek and once again become part of this very experienced and capable team,” Schaffer said. “We are developing a wide range of new products and strategies to address the rail industry’s most difficult issues and to better serve our clients in 2017 and beyond.”
