AmeraMex International, Inc. (OTC:AMMX), a provider of heavy equipment for logistics companies (stevedoring), infrastructure construction, commercial farming and mining companies, announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Niger’s Ministry of Transportation to provide trucks for the Vehicle Renewal of Public Transport Project. AmeraMex was selected as it has significant experience in the heavy equipment industry along with the technical and financial capacity to discharge the project in accordance with the specifications, terms and references defined by the Ministry of Transportation. Under the terms of the MOA, three representatives from Niger’s Ministry of Transportation and two representatives from AmeraMex international will meet in China to review the truck models and specifications as outlined in AmeraMex’s proposal to provide ‘tropicalized’ vehicles for both Nigerien carriers and trucks for the Public Transport program. It is estimated that approximately 3,000 trucks will be shipped from a Chinese manufacturer over a three-year period. With a successful due diligence, the next logical step will be a written agreement between Niger’s Ministry of Transportation and AmeraMex International. An MOA is a formal business document used to outline an agreement made between two separate entities. Its purpose is to provide a written understanding of the agreement between the parties. A MOA usually precedes a more detailed contract or agreement, after a process of negotiations and due diligence.
