APL Logistics’ Workplace Safety Record Wins Chilean Safety Association Award

Singapore - APL Logistics’ focus in providing a safe work environment for employees was recognized by the Chilean Safety Association (ACHS) through their award for “Commitment and Safety Management and Occupational Health” in 2015. The ACHS recognized APL Logistics’ best in class workplace safety incident record which is less than half the industry average of 5.8%. Fernando Encinas, Country Manager of APL Logistics Chile, commented “Workplace safety is an APL Logistics priority. Maintaining safe work conditions is absolutely critical for employee safety and uninterrupted customer service. We are honored to receive this award but we are not yet done.
