Washington, D.C. – The Ocean Carrier Equipment Management Association (“OCEMA”) is pleased to welcome its newly appointed Vice Chairman, Thomas Weisberg, Head of North America Asset Optimization for Maersk Line. Tom succeeds Mike Wilson who served as Vice Chairman of OCEMA from 2010 to April 2019, prior to his becoming CEO of Consolidated Chassis Management.

Tom, who has been a member of OCEMA’s Senior Steering Committee since October 2016 and serves as Vice Chairman of Operations Council, will provide continued leadership in his new role,” said Frank Grossi, OCEMA’s Chairman and Executive Vice President, COSCO SHIPPING Lines (North America), Inc.

Tom Weisberg joined Maersk in July 2011, and is responsible for the safe operation and availability of all refrigerated and dry equipment activities in North America. Prior to joining Maersk Line, Tom gained significant ocean and marine terminal operator experience from his work with NYK Logistics, P&O Nedlloyd Lines, and Maher Terminals.
