Acquisition expands AsiaInspection's footprint in Latin America and offers synergies with existing services for quality control and supplier compliance HONG KONG - AsiaInspection (AI), a global quality control and supplier compliance service provider, today announced the completion of its acquisition of GOAL, the Mexican leader for pre-customs clearance inspections (PEO, or Previo en Origen) services.  PEO services allow any company importing merchandise to Mexico to make customs clearance faster and smoother by performing an inspection at origin. Established in 2008 in Mexico, GOAL has built a leadership for PEO services, employing more than 180 staff globally and performing inspections in China, Vietnam and Indonesia for Mexican retailers, importers and freight forwarders.  The company also helps Mexican clients secure their supply chain with supplier audits and product inspections in factories.  "GOAL customers can now benefit from AI's expanded global coverage in 85 countries and from our larger services offering including laboratory testing," said Sebastien Breteau, AsiaInspection's Founder and CEO. "Mexico is a major market for international trade and offers promising opportunities for the AI group; hence we are very pleased to welcome the unique expertise of the GOAL team."  "Joining AI is a great opportunity for GOAL to develop within a larger group. We are excited to offer our clients more solutions for product quality and supplier compliance ", said Roberto Ramos Casas, GOAL's Founder and CEO.  The acquisition expands AI's footprint in Latin America, where it already covers consumer goods and food safety and quality; it also adds PEO services as a new expertise, complementing its product inspections, supplier audits and laboratory testing offering.
