ISAGO, modeled on the success of IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit), uses internationally recognized ground operational standards and recommended practices. The audit is conducted by highly trained and experienced auditors. ISAGO also provides GSPs with a model for operational risk and safety management in their organizations and for the first time there is a system for registration and sharing of audit results.
ISAGO offers benefits to'airlines, ground handlers, regulatory as well as airport authorities. Among them, safer ground operations, fewer accidents and injuries, elimination of redundant audits, reduced costs, less damage, a uniform audit process and harmonized standards, improved safety oversight, harmonized auditor training and qualifications, improved quality standards, and enhanced understanding of high-risk areas within ground operations.

BFS is a joint venture company of Bangkok Airways and Worldwide Flight Services. The company has provided full passenger, ramp and cargo handling services at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport since the airport opened in 2006. Within 14 months of operation, BFS attained ISO 9001:2000 and TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association) certifications. OHSAS 18001:2007 and the upgraded ISO 9001:2008 certifications came in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Today, BFS provide handling services to over 50 of the world's leading airlines and now becomes the first ground handling company in Thailand to be awarded ISAGO registration.
