Graham Burfurd has been appointed Vice President-Global Sales at Consolidators International (CII), the rapidly expanding international airfreight wholesaler.

A 10 year veteran of the air freight industry, Burfurd assumes his VP position directly from Australia. There, he was sales manager at a leading Australian freight forwarder.

In announcing the new appointment, Julian Keeling, CEO at Consolidators International, stated, "With Graham's wealth of experience in sales, particularly his knowledge of the Australian market, we believe CII can generate even greater volume in our company's single most important destination." Keeling pointed out that Australia and New Zealand account for more than 75 per cent of total CII revenues.

"We are indeed fortunate that Graham has decided to leave Australia for the U.S. and join our company. He will play an important role in CII's expansion not only in the South Pacific but also in our growing activity throughout Asia," said Keeling.

Los Angeles-based Consolidators International is in the midst of its greatest expansion in the wholesaler's 15-year history. Personnel have been added not only at CII headquarters in Los Angeles, but also in company facilities at JFK and Atlanta. Despite the many headwinds currently buffeting the air cargo industry, CII continues to grow in sales volume and number of customers. It has become the single largest forwarder customer of UPS out of Los Angeles International Airport.
