Officials from Project Cargo Network (PCN) presented C.H. Robinson Project Logistics with the 2014 Regional ‘Americas’ Award for the second year in a row during their annual summit on November 16-18 in Rome, Italy. Each year PCN conducts a Quality Control Survey in order to better monitor the performance of its members through their evaluation of doing business with one another. C.H. Robinson Project Logistics was selected as the winner of the ‘Americas’ region out of 33 other eligible members. “We award the highest achievers per region and for the second year running, C.H. Robinson has won the coveted award for the ‘Americas’ region,” said Rachel Humphrey, president of PCN. “This shows that C.H. Robinson has a strong reputation within PCN and is highly respected.” PCN members represent the world’s top project cargo specialists who handle the international transportation of oversized and heavy items or shipments. The event was held at the Crowne Plaza St. Peter’s Hotel in Rome with 160 CEO’s and senior managers from over 175 countries.
