Despite fears of another government shutdown, CBP officials will attend and speak at CONECT’s T&T Conference later this month. The House of Representatives yesterday passed a clean DHS reauthorization bill (meaning, without any provisions directed at undoing the President’s executive orders on immigration). This means that all CBP personnel will be working as normal, and those invited and intending to participate in the T&T will be able to do so. Todd Owen, CBP’s Assistant Commissioner, Office of Field Operations, and Maria Louisa Boyce, CBP’s Senior Advisor for Trade, Office of Trade Relations remain slated to speak on T&T’s Opening Day: Tuesday, March 31. So register today!
