Celadon Group Inc. announced that Chief Financial Officer Paul Will was elected chair of the trucking industry's Accounting and Finance Council during its fall meeting in Washington DC.

The NAFC is a unit of American Trucking Associations, but is open to all industry finance executives, even if their companies are not ATA members.

Will was appointed Executive Vice President of Celadon in May 2002 and has served as Chief Financial Officer since December 1998.

Will was also recently selected as the recipient of the 'Indy's Best and Brightest' award for Accounting. The program recognizes top professionals from 10 different industries based on several criteria. In the years since he became CFO, Celadon's stock price has increased from $3 to $20.

Will has nearly 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. He graduated from Indiana University with a BS in business. Prior to joining Celadon, he spent several years working in public accounting for KPMG. He is a certified public accountant.
