Hoofddorp, the Netherlands – CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain management companies, has appointed Ching Guo to the position of Senior Vice President Global Contract Logistics – Technology Operations.  He will be based in Seattle, USA reporting to Chief Operating Officer Contract Logistics, Brett Bissell. Guo’s new role will be multifunctional and global with a specific focus on maintaining and improving process excellence and performance across CEVA’s technology operations to improve customer satisfaction and service levels.  One of his first priorities will be to define the standardization strategy for current operations in order to drive the continuous improvement program using the company’s KPI database.  He will work alongside Solution Design teams to develop more robust globally consistent solutions for customers. He will also work closely with the business development team to grow new opportunities across the Technology sector with the aim of establishing CEVA as the clear industry leader in this arena. Guo joins CEVA from Alibaba where he co-founded the “Village Taobao” business for the development of online product information, digital payment and last mile logistics. “I am delighted to welcome someone with such extensive and diversified experience as Ching to our team,” says Chief Operating Officer Contract Logistics, Brett Bissell.  “His expertise in the management of supply chains and logistics within the hi-tech sector will be invaluable as we strive to continue to produce above market growth rates in our Technology business”. Guo holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Vanderbilt in Nashville, USA and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
