In the second quarter of 2020, Piattaforma Logistica Trieste S.r.L. (PLT) ordered an eco-efficient Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane for a new terminal in the Port of Trieste in northeastern Italy. After delivery in September and commissioning in October, the crane will handle containers, general cargo and heavy project cargo.

Two new mobile harbor cranes have been delivered to the Port of Savannah's Ocean Terminal as the Georgia Ports Authority expands its container-handling and berth capacity. The cranes will offload containers from vessels carrying up to 4,800 twenty-foot equivalent container units.

Second Newcastle Max calls at Port of Mobile sets export metallurgical coal loading record

The Alabama State Port Authority received another Newcastle Max bulk carrier loading a record 135,484 short tons (122,909 metric tons) of export metallurgical grade coal at its McDuffie Coal Terminal. The Newcastle Max class bulk carrier, NSU VOYAGER, matches the previous record bulk ship to call the port measuring 984.2 feet (300 meters) in length overall (LOA) and has a width of 164.3 feet (50 meter beam). All of her cargo loaded at McDuffie consisted of Alabama metallurgical grade coal bound for Asian markets.
