Steder Group B.V., member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for The Netherlands, through their Project Logistics Department recently performed a break-bulk operation in the Port of Rotterdam as four heavy crane parts were transported in an inland waterway vessel from Drachten to Rotterdam.

Over Projects, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Brazil, managed safe movement of 11 x used CAT 785D off-highway trucks each 9.7 x 6.7 x 5.2 m / 90t each + 15 tyres + 2 x 40'HC SOC in total: 3856 Freight tons from a mine site to the designated export port for loading onto a chartered vessel bound for Australia.

XLP member, BATI GROUP's Project Team took a delivery of five excavators from Kazakhstan which were 40 tons each with a total of 200 tons. The shipment was shipped from Tengiz, Kazakhstan to the port of Iskenderun, Turkey while completing the transit custom formalities. Excavators were loaded onto a RORO vessel from Iskenderun with the destination being Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Although there were many different challenges due to the pandemic procedures on the border gates, BATI GROUP made sure that the shipment reached Iskenderun Port, Turkey just in time to be loaded on the first RORO vessel. It is another project cargo shipment success by BATI GROUP’s Project Department!

In the port of Rostock, the first monopiles for the offshore wind farm "Kriegers Flak", which is currently under construction, were loaded. The wind farm, located south of the Danish coast, will supply up to 600,000 households with electricity in the future and will thus become Denmark's largest offshore wind farm. The loading of the monopile foundation piles will be handled by Liebherr's heavy-duty gantry crane type TCC 78000, inaugurated in 2019. The manufacturer of the monopiles is the offshore wind specialist EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH, also based in Rostock.
