Spinelli S.r.l. (Spinelli Group) has ordered the first Generation 6 crane to their fleet of Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane at their terminal in Genoa, northwestern Italy. Their container handling operations will benefit from improved performance of this crane, its doubled service life and it’s improved eco-efficiency. The order was booked in July 2022 and the crane will be delivered in December.

DCT Gdansk, a member of the PSA Group, has ordered ten new Konecranes Automated RTG (ARTG) cranes and committed to the retrofitting of its current fleet of 15 electric, manual Konecranes RTGs for automated operation. The order was booked in March 2022. The first two manual RTGs will be retrofitted to ARTG by April 2023, with the remaining 13 manual RTGs following suit by January 2024. The 10 new ARTGs will be delivered by September 2023.

DCT Gdansk, the largest container terminal in the Baltic Sea and a member of the PSA Group, has placed an order for 10 new Semi-Automated Rubber Tire Gantry Cranes (ARTG) from the lifting solutions company Konecranes and has committed itself to retrofitting its current fleet of 15 Konecrane RTG cranes. These additions and upgrades will accommodate the terminal’s dynamic growth, that will be advanced by the opening of its new deep-water quay in 2024.

Port of South Louisiana dedicates two cranes for Globalplex dock

Today, the Port of South Louisiana officially dedicated and named its two Konecranes Gottwald Model 6 Portal Harbor Cranes for its public facility, the Globalplex Intermodal Terminal Dock along the Mississippi River. These cranes have increased the Port’s capacity for handling bulk materials and will allow for the handling of containers and project cargo.
