Port of Antwerp-Bruges and CMB.TECHwill soon welcome the Hydrotug, the first hydrogen-powered tugboat. The Hydrotug consists of two BeHydro V12 dual fuel medium speed engines that can run on hydrogen and traditional fuel. Damen Shipyards has delivered a Stan Pontoon 12032 to Italian construction and logistics contractor Renco S.p.A. The pontoon will be supporting major energy companies in their activities in south-eastern Africa, acting as a jetty extension for use by supply vessels. The Stan Pontoon 12032 is the largest standard pontoon in Damen’s range, measuring 120 metres by 32 metres and with a maximum deadweight of over 20,000 tons.

The Port of Savannah, owned and operated by the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA), has ordered 7 Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes and 15 Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes from Konecranes. The order is Konecranes’ second largest order ever and it was booked in Q1 2022. The RTG cranes will be delivered by August 2023, and the STS cranes will be delivered by mid-2025.
