  • Warehouse operations
Upon announcing the launch of the new Certificate Program Dr. Tom O'Brien, Executive Director of the Center for International Trade & Transportation stated, "We are very pleased to add this on-line program to our existing portfolio of classroom and distance learning offerings. We cater to students from around the world and it is essential that we not only provide the best possible learning experience, but that we do so in a manner that transcends geographies, time zones and the student's busy lifestyle. We're especially pleased that the certification serves a dual purpose as a gateway into our highly successful Global Logistics Specialist Designation." During the announcement, Dr. O'Brien pointed out that the program was created in conjunction with Trade Facilitators, Inc., the Los Angeles-based supply chain consulting firm. Dan Gardner, President of TFI and an award-winning instructor at CITT noted, "CITT was already the best source in the U.S. for practical training in logistics and supply chain, and this new program only augments that standing. Our goal from the outset was to combine the best in distance learning technology with a highly visual, interactive approach to teaching that will ultimately make our graduates more competitive in the global marketplace. After several months of working together, I believe that we did just that."
