SEOUL - CJ Korea Express Corp, South Korea’s largest logistics company, is seeking to acquire Chinese logistics firm Rokin Logistics, CJ said in a regulatory filing on Thursday. CJ Korea Express has participated in a round of binding bids for Rokin, newspaper Korea Economic Daily reported earlier on Thursday, citing an unnamed investment banking source. More than 10 bidders have expressed interest in the bidding process for Rokin, which is expected to have a price tag of about $300-$400 million, the paper said. A spokesman for CJ Korea Express declined to comment. Rokin did not respond to an email request for comment.
