CMA CGM implements Emergency Operational surcharge in Zanzibar

CMA CGM announced that the increasing severe deterioration of the port congestion now reaching up to 21 days in Zanzibar, Tanzania, which is beyond their control.
Therefore, CMA CGM will implement an Emergency Operational surcharge in Zanzibar applicable to all shipments until further notice as follows:
From the United Arab Emirates (Dubai and Khor Fakkan)
To Zanzibar
Surcharge is prepaid and payable at origin
All cargo
Effective from m/v JUMME TRADER voy. 1132SS ETA Khor Fakkan on July 3rd, 2016 and Jebel Ali on July 5th, 2016
USD 225 per TEU
