Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, congratulated the Québec Port Authority and the Public Service Alliance of Canada on reaching a collective agreement.   • The agreement was reached with assistance from the Labour Program’s Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, which provides dispute resolution and dispute prevention assistance to trade unions and employers under the Canada Labour Code.
  • The Québec Port Authority operates the Port of Québec on behalf of the Government of Canada.
  • The collective agreement covering 12 office employees expired on September 30, 2011.
