Budd Lake, NJ. - Consolidated Chassis Management is pleased to introduce its new booking system set to launch in all of the cooperative chassis pools in October for use by motor carriers, beneficial cargo owners and ocean carriers.  The newly designed system replaces the current practice of requests being emailed into the various pool offices and will provide the party seeking the release with a quick and seamless process to gain a chassis booking.  For any party to gain a release they must register first by going to Barechassis.com.  When a release is requested availability will show up on the screen and a selection for release can be made there.  This will prompt a release number back to the requestor and prompt an email to the facility where the chassis will be picked up from.  “We are confident that this will expedite and improve service to the motor carrier and customer community,” said Jon Poelma, Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer.  There will be a full cutover on the start date so it is important that parties register as soon as possible.  Any unregistered parties who request chassis via email after the start date will be instructed to register so they can gain a release.  Releases will be good for the current day and if availability allows, the following day as well. The tentative roll out schedule is COCP on October 2, then as follows: SACP:   October 9th, 2017 GCCP:  October 16th, 2017 MCCP: October 9th, 2017 MWCP: October 16th, 2017 DCCP: October 16th, 2017
