Cargo vice president Jack Boisen to retire; senior director global sales and marketing- Jim McKeon to succeed him.

Continental Airlines announced that Jack Boisen, vice president Cargo Division, plans to retire from Continental Airlines Cargo at the end of this month. It is important to note that Jack will continue to represent Continental Airlines Cargo in several important roles including leadership of TIACA and representation at industry forums, into November of this year.

At the same time, Jim McKeon, senior director global sales and marketing, will assume Boisen's role leading the cargo division. McKeon, who joined Continental in 2001, is well suited to take on that expanded role. He developed Cargo's innovative global account program and created a new product development division. Further he expanded the company's interline marketing brand, called GlobalLink. Under his leadership, Cargo revenues have grown dramatically.

McKeon previously held numerous director-level positions in both airline cargo and passenger sales, at Northwest Airlines, where he spent 18 years. McKeon is a graduate of Florida State University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs.
