Continental Airlines Cargo, a division of Continental Airlines, announced today that its cargo availability and shipment tracking are now live at Cargo Portal Services ('CPS'), a leading cargo e-commerce portal, operated by Unisys. The system offers Continental's cargo customers a free Web-based facility to manage bookings and track shipments through a neutral portal.

'Our customers want choice and convenience', said Jack W. Boisen, Vice President-Cargo Division. 'CPS fits the bill because of its rapid adoption by forwarders, multi- carrier model and capability to handle all types of cargo products.'

'Unisys and the CPS community welcome Continental Airlines Cargo. We are already seeing many CPS users booking on them in the same way that they do with other CPS carriers,' said Christopher Shawdon, vice president and partner, Logistics Solutions for Unisys. "Their expertise in areas such as air cargo security will also help shape new CPS developments."
