Crimson Shipping Co. to start Port of Fernandina Liner Service

Beginning September 21, 2014, Crimson Shipping Co. will begin its monthly break-bulk liner service from the Port of Fernandina, Fernandina Beach, FL to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The covered barge will load a variety of break-bulk cargo from the Nassau Terminals/Kinder Morgan terminal facility including Kraft Liner Board, lumber, and steel products.
Kinder Morgan/Nassau Terminals operates the Port of Fernandina, a diversified terminal capable of handling container, break-bulk and bulk cargos. The terminal consists of 200,000 SF of warehouses, 2,800 TEU container yard and 5 acres of outside storage. In addition, the company operates a 50,000 SF off-port warehouse transfer facility with an additional 5 acres of open storage.”
