International logistics service provider, Dachser, further expands its intercontinental network. Cincinnati is the tenth location for Dachser in the USA.

The new branch in Cincinnati is located adjacent to the Cincinnati-Northern International Airport and offers the whole range of transport and logistics services for the area of Ohio, Kentucky, Southern Indiana and Eastern Michigan. As a 'licensed customs broker', the branch also completes all customs clearance procedures on behalf of its customers.

'It is our plan to cover all important air and sea ports in the United States of America with our own branches', says Frank Guenzerodt, President and CEO of Dachser in the USA. The foundation of the location in Cincinnati is an important step in this development. 'We will open further branches in the United States this year to be even closer to our customers', Guenzerodt adds.

Cincinnati is an interesting business location; within one flying hour 60 percent of the US-American population can be reached. The city at the state triangle Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky is the USA home for more than 70 German companies. Two million people are living in greater Cincinnati.

The logistics service provider Dachser has been present in the United States since 1970 and currently operates ten locations. These offer the customers close access to the network of Dachser, which consists of approximately 300 branches worldwide.

In 2007 Dachser generated total sales of 5.1 bn. USD, employing 17,100 staff in 297 profit centers worldwide and handled 39.1 million shipments.
