This is the second time Damco is awarded by its peers at the SCM Logistics Excellence Awards. Last year Damco won the 'Supply Chain Best Partnership Award'. With this year's award, Damco broadens the accolade received for solutions in supply chain management with a distinct customer focus.
The Awards are part of the SCM Logistics World Conference, held at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore, which brings together executives in the supply chain and logistics industry. The delegates of the conference as well as supply chain practitioners around the world cast their votes in a global voting system.
Upon accepting the award in Singapore, Damco's Global Head of Green Logistics Sarah Flagg said: 'This is a clear testament to the advances we have made within the field of green logistics and to the strength of our customer partnerships in creating sustainable supply chains."
