Direct ChassisLink Inc., a leading provider of Intermodal Equipment and Services, has announced the acquisition of REZ-1, a provider of domestic intermodal equipment management and services.
REZ-1 currently manages over 70,000 assets on its platform across a diverse customer base. Headquartered in Wellesley, Massachusetts, REZ-1 was founded in 1994 to manage the EMP rail-controlled container program for Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern.
Since inception, REZ-1 has continued to invest in its portfolio of technology based intermodal solutions and has further expanded its management services to other asset types and customers.
In recognition of REZ-1’s foresight and innovation in load matching technology, Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) awarded REZ-1 the 2009 IANA Intermodal Achievement award.
