Ronen Donde has been appointed President at Consolidators International, Inc., a leading forwarder/wholesaler with headquarters in Los Angeles and offices throughout the United States.

The announcement was made by Julian Keeling, Chief Executive Officer at CII who stated, 'In his ten years at CII, Ronen has played a key role in the growth and development of our company. His appointment to the presidency is richly deserved.'

Ronen's professional career has been entirely in air and ocean cargo. After a brief stint with Pilot Air Freight, Ronen joined CII at its Los Angeles headquarters where he started work in the company' wholesale division. He soon began taking on added responsibilities in the company's forwarding division, charter work, ocean freight and its entertainment branch, Backstage Cargo. Recognizing Ronen's many capabilities, Keeling appointed him to head Corrigan's Express, CII's forwarding and NVOCC division. The choice was fortunate. 'Under Ronen's leadership, Corrigan's Express has become CII's fastest growing division,' said Keeling.

The new President has strong views on the cargo industry, the future path of Consolidators International and his plans to carry them out. 'We need to provide a complete portfolio of services to the international forwarding community by growing our original core of export freight to the South Pacific,' he stated.' We want to offer current and future customers competitive pricing combined with exemplary service for all their shipping needs,' continued Donde. He pointed to the strong growth in sales and earnings at CII during the first six months of 2012 despite a soft economy in the U.S. and abroad. 'Our concentration on customer service has worked because because unlike many of our fellow forwarders who have been cutting back, we are increasing our staff by 50 per cent to handle CII's increased volume.'

With new top management at its home base in Los Angeles and recent key appointments at the company's regional offices in Houston, JFK, Chicago and Atlanta, Keeling is confident CII's growth will continue well into the remainder of the decade. 'We now have a terrific management team in place,' said Keeling. 'We are increasing our penetration in markets throughout the South Pacific and elsewhere. The future looks very bright for Consolidators International,' concluded Julian Keeling.
