Miami, FL, USA - Nabil Sultan, Emirates' Divisional Senior Vice President, Cargo has been appointed to The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) Board of Directors. Sultan has over 20 years’ experience in senior management roles at the airline and was promoted to his current role in 2013. “Air cargo is one of the primary drivers of the global economy, and our industry will play an increasingly prominent role in supporting international commerce in the decades to come,” said Sultan. “I am honored to join TIACA’s Board of Directors because I share the organization’s commitment to improving market access, security, and environmental responsibility in the global air cargo industry.” Sultan began his career with Emirates in 1990 in the IT department, and two years later joined the company’s management training program with the commercial department. Between 1995 and 2008, he worked in various management and leadership roles both within and outside the United Arab Emirates (UAE), including Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations West Asia and Indian Ocean; Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations Gulf, Middle East, and Iran; and Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations for Europe.
