Envirotainer has announced that its Singapore service station is successfully launched. Envirotainer has a global service network with contracted suppliers at more than 50 airports. The Singapore service station is the second in line, after Atlanta, to open as a fully Envirotainer owned station - to make sure that high quality standards are met in the increasingly high demand life science market. Envirotainer offers a global service network on almost all continents. By investing in and opening up its own station in this critical healthcare market, Envirotainer will be able to provide greater and quicker access to the Active Cold Chain. Envirotainer has an ongoing process to evaluate its service network, and the opening of the Singapore station will help ensure and further improve on that Envirotainer high quality standards are met. The service station will also act as a future Envirotainer Competence Center, where gathering of best practices and testing of new concepts will be realized, close to Envirotainer's Operations Center based in Singapore. The company will further open up two additional stations based in Amsterdam and Vienna over the next six months. Staffan Ingfors, Head of Global Service Network at Envirotainer, said “I am very pleased about the launch of our own Singapore service station. To provide this full service location in Asia with handling, repair and maintenance for all our container types will be another important step on Envirotainer’s journey to bring the Active Cold Chain to where our customers need us to be.” A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on 29th of October in Singapore to mark the successful launch of the Competence Center.
