The EXG project team has recently handled a load of earth moving machines for a large power & energy project company, working for the Malawi Government. The 14 machines with a total of 143 tons were transported on flat-rack containers from Matadi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Beira in Mozambique where they were discharged to low-bed trailers to reduce the height for secure transport and safety reasons. A leading Project team member at Express Global Logistics adds: “We are also handling a total of 500 containers (20’ & 40’) for a 17-month long project started in April 2016 which varies between 9 and 74 containers per Bill of Lading.”
