AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has extended its cargo handling contract with Fraport Cargo Services GmbH (FCS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fraport AG. The decision by the Russian cargo carrier has been made well in advance of the date required.ABC began its partnership with FCS in August 2008. Since then, both partners have faced a number of challenges, which have been successfully met by offering high flexibility, top standards, qualified staff, and customized solutions. Expressing her delight with the contract extension, FCS managing director Diana Schöneich said: “We consider this decision as a clear proof of confidence in our company, since AirBridgeCargo is an airline with high standards of security, quality, and service. We will continue to do our utmost to meet the expectations of our largest customer also in the future.” AirBridgeCargo Airlines is one of the fastest growing international air cargo carriers. Currently, the airline operates a modern fleet of 13 Boeing 747 freighters including 6 of the new generation B747-8F aircraft. In the winter schedule 2014/15, ABC has increased frequencies to/from Frankfurt from 14 to 17 flights per week. Via its hub in Moscow, the carrier offers convenient onward connections to other major cargo gateways in Asia and the U.S.
