FESCO Agencies North America (FANA) announced that it has hired Norton Lilly International, the largest provider of agency services, as their sub-agent in North America to handle all of its documentation, logistics, accounting and claims handling functions, effective immediately. According to Aspi Rostami, FANA’s president, the reason for the transition is Norton Lilly’s ability to grow as FANA looks to expand its global reach into Asia and increase its service offerings within Australia and New Zealand. “Norton Lilly has an excellent reputation in the agency business with more than 164 years of experience and they are the largest provider in North America. We wanted to further improve our liner services, including documentation, logistics, accounting and claims handling, and Norton Lilly will definitely allow us to continue on the path to excellence.” He also said the agency transition should be seamless for FANA’s customers. “One of our top priorities in establishing this new relationship was not to inconvenience our customers. We went as far as making sure all of the agency staff based in Virginia Beach, Long Beach, Chicago, Seattle and Vancouver remained the same, including phone and fax numbers. Our business is all about relationships and customer service and this just underscores that point.” FANA’s customer service department will remain in-house and based in Seattle. “As a niche operator, we work hard to offer the best customer service in the trades we service, if not the entire industry. We feel our customers are best served through our Seattle office.”
