Fraport Cargo announces new Managing Director at FCS

After the formal completion of the planned strategic partnership between Fraport AG and WFS Worldwide Flight Services on November 2, 2015, the shareholders have now decided to appoint Hans-Georg Emmert as Managing Director of FCS Frankfurt Cargo Services GmbH* effective December 1st, 2015.

With this decision WFS once more emphasizes its general policy to run all stations abroad by a local management who is familiar with practices and people of the country. Since the establishment of Fraport Cargo Services GmbH Hans-Georg Emmert had the long term position as Head of Sales and Marketing. Before joining Fraport and FCS he gained substantial experience by working for an airline in the field of operation. “I am more than honored by this appointment, and I will do my utmost to push forward the development of the new company emerging from the strategic partnership of WFS and Fraport AG. We want our customers to benefit from our new situation within a global network, and we will continue with our high performance and service which also complies with the main targets of WFS”, says Mr. Emmert.
