Awards recognize national motor carriers based on their year-end preventable crash results and companies dedicated to creating safe work environments CHICAGO - Asset-based truckload carrier Freight Exchange (F/X), a Redwood Logistics company, was selected by Great West Casualty Company to receive both their National Safety and Workplace Safety Awards. F/X was honored as a Platinum winner for three consecutive years in the National Fleet Safety category and a winner in the Workplace Safety program. “We are thrilled for the recognition of these national awards,” said Gary Lewis, chief asset officer, F/X. “They are a testament to our entire team’s ongoing pledge to driver and employee safety, while delivering on our customer commitments.” The National Safety Awards program recognizes motor carriers in similar operations (truckload and less-than-truckload) with awards based on their year-end preventable crash results. The Workplace Safety Awards program selects trucking companies for their dedication to creating and fostering a safe work environment for their employees. Awards are based on a motor carrier’s year-end workplace incident rate.
