The site invited industry players to evaluate and vote on the best service providers. GAC China came out ahead of the field as the only winner in the auto sector, in recognition of its clear branding, dedicated logistics team and good reputation based on customer satisfaction.
Simon Xu, General Manager of GAC Freight Services in China accepted the award at the 'China Automotive Industry Award' ceremony last week.
GAC China set up the GAC Automotive Logistics team (GAL) in 2003, to offer services such as spare parts inbound logistics, finished products outbound logistics, CKD logistics and total supply chain management.
GAL provides service to international and domestic auto spare parts manufacturers, suppliers and distributors. Compared to the first half of last year, GAC's automotive logistics business grew by 20% this year.
'We are greatly honoured to receive this award, which is the result of the great efforts of the GAL team to build an excellent automotive logistics concept in China,' says Simon. 'This recognition as the 'best' will further motivate us to strive to become an ever better logistics provider.'
