In his new post, Ghaffar will provide frontline liaison with current Impatex customers in the London Airports area, and spearhead sales to potential new users. He lives close to Heathrow, enabling him to spend more time in his area. Ghaffar has worked in the freight industry since leaving Kings College, London, where he obtained an IT-related degree and was awarded the KCLEA Medal for producing the highest-scoring project in his final year. Most recently, Ghaffar worked for Impatex customer DFS Worldwide, where he gained hands-on experience of the company’s software as a user. Says Impatex MD Peter Day: “We are delighted to welcome Ali to our team. His practical experience in forwarding, personal knowledge of our software and educational background make him the ideal candidate to help support our existing customers and attract new ones.”
