Crane Worldwide Logistics has added to the experience within their Global Specialized Services division for 2016, Paul Higgins, a long term resident in Brazil, has joined the team to take lead of the GSS operations in Latin America.  The GSS division is the project cargo division of Crane Worldwide Logistics that has expanded across all geographical regions within the global company over the past few years.  The services that are included are project cargo management, chartering, expediting, packing and crating, hazmat handling as well as compliance consulting. Through its heavy lift and oversized cargo expertise, the team at Crane Worldwide can offer logistics plans and site surveys as well as general freight forwarding activities such as road, rail, sea and air transportation. The Global Specialized Services division also covers marine and offshore services such as vessel agency and husbandry services, load out planning, dry docking and vessel repair services as well as spare parts logistics servicing all types of vessels such as drill ships, cruise ships and offshore supply vessels for example. Paul Higgins is joining Crane Worldwide with a wealth of experience in the Latin American market. Originally from the UK, Paul has been based in Brazil for thirty years in several positions across a number of 3PL organizations. He has significant experience in the Mining and Oil and Gas sectors as well as Industrial Project management.
