Globalink regularly receives requests for the transportation of oversized cargo and heavy lifts. Already an expert in utilizing sea-, air, sea-air, rail, sea-rail, Globalink is also extremely proficient in handling such cargo via road as well.

Fuel Gas Compressor

Given our project handling expertise, complete coverage of the region and impeccable track record, it came as no surprise when one of the leading CIS based Oil & Gas companies approached Globalink to handle equipment for a fuel gas compressor. The compressor and lubrication skids packages arrived from UK to the Back Sea Port of Poti, Georgia and waiting at port, were representatives from Globalink Georgia's project team. Having arranged for the needed cranes to be positioned, unloading was swift and with the cargo loaded onto 13 special axle low bed trailers (also arranged by our team), the trailers then departed for Armenia. At destination site in Armenia, Globalink Armenia's personnel were on hand to handle customs clearance and supervise unloading at the site.

In the Oil & Gas industry, as in others, everything has to move like clockwork as the slightest delay can adversely affect operations. The compressor units had to be delivered on time, without the slightest delay and true to form, Globalink stepped up and delivered as promised.

Aircraft Engines from Uzbekistan to Singapore and Back

Given Globalink's considerable experience in the aerospace sector (having transported aircraft engines and spare parts for both civil and military aviation), we are regularly called upon to provide AOG services. Such was the case when Globalink Uzbekistan was contracted to transport Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines from Tashkent, Uzbekistan to Singapore for the repair of an Uzbek Airlines aircraft

Out Road freight Division started the transportation leg by carefully packing and loading the heavy engines onto a truck from our fleet for delivery to Navoi Airport, Uzbekistan. Globalink's experience Air Chartering Team had already arranged for a Boeing 747-400 to be waiting for the cargo at Navoi

Airport. With delivery at the airport ahead of schedule, loading was done instantaneously and the aircraft departed for Singapore. All in all it took under a day to pick, pack and dispatch the cargo to Singapore.

In Singapore, the engines were overhauled to industry standards and ready to be returned to the aircraft waiting for them. Needless to say, pleased with the efficiency that Globalink demonstrated, we were asked to handle these engines back to Tashkent.

Urgent delivery along with quality service was the essential criteria and that is what Globalink is all about. With another successful project under its belt, Globalink continues to drive forward providing a superior service second to none.

Medical Equipment from Germany to Kazakhstan

Renowned for transporting heavy industrial projects effectively and efficiently, Globalink is equally well-known in auto logistics and handling vehicle shipments. So it came as no surprise when our Airfreight team was called upon to deliver 2 ambulances from Germany to Kazakhstan.

Urgently needed for replacing existing, old and worn-out ambulances, delays of any sort were simply not an option. Ready as ever to deliver, this transport combined the collective efforts of our Road, Customs and Air Freight Divisions. Firstly, all the cargo was carried from Germany to Amsterdam by special trucks, where it was then reloaded with special cranes onto the waiting air freighter to Almaty.

Upon arrival at Almaty Airport, our Customs Team cleared the shipment swiftly and passed the baton to our Road Freight division which had arranged for the needed trucks from our feet to be available.

With delivery completed as per the request, this showed yet again how Globalink provides a smooth, seamless and problem free multi-modal logistics solution.

Impressed with our handling of the above ambulances, Globalink was
