The National Tank Truck Carriers, Inc. (NTTC) today announced that Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker will offer the keynote address at its upcoming 67th Annual Conference & Exhibit Show. The conference will be held April 26-28 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place located in the heart of Boston’s historic Back Bay.   Gov. Scott Walker is a nationally recognized political figure largely based on his impressive electoral success in Wisconsin.  With a focus on bold financial reform in his state, his reelection last November was his third election victory in four years.  During his time in office, Gov. Walker made transportation infrastructure investment a priority and is also known for his commitment to other topics important to our industry.    “We’re extremely excited to host Governor Walker as our keynote speaker this year,” said NTTC Chairman Dean E. Kaplan.  “He is a pro-business leader well-versed in the tank truck industry due its origins and significant presence in Wisconsin.  Our attendees will really enjoy the unique opportunity to hear directly from one of the nation’s emerging leaders.  I thank Quala for its generous sponsorship of our annual keynote programming.”  This year’s Annual Conference marks the NTTC’s Platinum Anniversary as the association celebrates its 70th year as the voice of the industry.  The event is expected to draw over 600 industry players and will feature some of the leading content in the trucking industry including the selection of this year’s Professional Tank Truck Driver of the Year, recognition of the Outstanding Safety Performance Awards, an all-star economic panel discussion with expertise in trucking, energy, and chemical manufacturing, as well as other interesting presentations and interactive panel discussions.   The Conference also offers the industry’s finest peer-to-peer networking opportunities through its Exhibit Show that features over 70 booths showcasing the goods and services of the premiere suppliers to the tank truck industry.  The agenda is also packed with first-class social activities including our annual NTTC PAC Event sponsored by PeopleNet and TMW and our ever popular grand finale reception sponsored by the Allied Committee for the Trucking Industry (ACT1).
