Hamburg Süd announces the following network changes to their Trans-Pacific route system: Asia-North America West Coast (UPAS1) The Shanghai port call will be changed from the Yangshan Terminal to the Wai Gao Qiao Terminal effective with the departure of the “CMA CGM Nabucco” voyage 17eb on May 26, 2016. Asia-North America West Coast (UPAS2) Direct calls at Qingdao will cease with the last call on May 17-18, 2016 with the “CSCL Winter” voyage 29/30.  Eastbound and Westbound cargo from/to Qingdao going forward will be transhipped via Busan. Asia - North America East Coast (ECAS) Charleston will be added as a direct port of call starting with the departure of the “CMA CGM Melisande” voyage 167/168 from Hong Kong on April 24 and arriving in Charleston on May 30, 2016.  The East Coast rotation will be: Halifax - New York - Norfolk - Savannah - Charleston Asia - North America East Coast (ASUS) This service will be discontinued after the departure of the “Seaspan Explorer” voyage 119/120 on June 30, 2016 from Qingdao. Weekly North China service to the U.S. East Coast ports of Savannah, Charleston, Norfolk and New York will continue to be provided on the APNE service.
