Hanjin Logistics Europe B.V. ' a subidiary of South Korea's Hanjin Logistics - has opened a new on-airport base at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
The new facility, which includes both bonded and non-bonded warehousing, will act as a Benelux distribution centre for the company's large volumes of import traffic arriving at Schiphol.
Hanjin Logistics was launched in 2001, and opened its first European branch only in 2008; in Holland, it also has an ocean freight operation at Rotterdam port. The company provides international logistics and supply chain solutions including forwarding by air, sea, road and rail, via a growing network of owned- and partner offices at 60 locations throughout Europe, Africa, Oceania, Asia and the USA.
The company is particularly active with customers in the automotive, electronics, chemicals, apparel, fmcg and heavy industrial sectors.
