Hapag-Lloyd announced EMS from North Europe and Mediterranean to Dakar, Senegal

Heavy delays at the port of Dakar, Senegal due to renovation works on the terminal premises.

Hapag-Lloyd will implement an Emergency Surcharge (EMS) for all container types from North Europe and Mediterranean to Dakar, Senegal.

Effective for sailings as of October 7, 2017 and valid until further notice the EMS will be as follows:

  • EUR 125 per TEU

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain unchanged respectively.

Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply in addition.
