Hapag-LLoyd announced that the Authority of Transport in Ivory Coast prohibited all carriers to apply a Terminal Handling Charge (THC) in Ivory Coast both for 20’/40’ containers, effective date December 29, 2016 and valid until further notice. The canceled THC in Ivory Coast will apply for all trades to and from Ivory Coast. The FAK base rates as published on Hapag-Lloyd's website as well as Bunker related surcharges, Security related surcharges, Peak Season surcharges (if applicable) and other THCs remain unchanged until further notice and for European trades. Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.
