Hapag-Lloyd announced that the operations in Rades are again being affected beyond normal conditions and that the whole service pro forma schedule is suffering under these circumstances. As the situation has worsened further, Hapag-Lloyd will revise the current Terminal Congestion Surcharge on all import shipments to Rades as follows:
  • USD 125 per TEU (or EUR 112 per TEU)
The above-mentioned surcharge is effective from June 1, 2017. For US trades the effective date is June 23, 2017 in accordance to FMC rule. We regret any inconveniences caused. Once the situation in Rades gets back to normal, we will be waiving or mitigating this surcharge.
