Calabasas, California-based Harbor Freight Tools has broken ground on a one-million square foot expansion of its Dillon, S.C. distribution center. The facility is within the Carolinas I-95 Mega Site, a 3,400-acre industrial park situated between Dillon and Latta near the North Carolina border. That mega site is also the location of the new South Carolina Inland Port Dillon. Harbor Freight Tools now has more than 800 stores nationally. This is the third major expansion of the Dillon DC since first opening in 2001.

Construction At Inland Port Dillon Leaps Forward Inland Port Dillon construction is proceeding on pace for an April 2018 opening. Phase one of the South Carolina Ports Authority's latest inland port will feature two working tracks totaling more than 10,000 feet and yard space for approximately 10,000 FEU. Current plans are for CSX to serve Dillon daily, Monday-Friday with gate hours of 6:00AM-6:00PM Monday-Friday.
